Spirit Faces by Gary Wyatt

Taken from the Introduction of Spirit Faces

“The indigenous peoples of the northwest Coast of North America constitute one of the world’s oldest and richest cultural groups. For thousands of years they have lived along the Pacific shoreline of what is now mostly the province of British Columbia, Canada. The area is bounded by Alaska to the north, the Coastal Mountains to the east , the Columbia river to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the West.”

The name on the map has changed but the spirit still remains.  We are witnessing the obliteration of  a culture in a name change, can you write out a “people” slowly the indigenous communities are becoming artefacts themselves.
